I know for a fact that the majority of InDesign users don’t even know this tool is there. It’s WAAAAY at the bottom and behaves in such a way that people just don’t use it.
But…in collaborative workflows it can make a huge difference in replacing verbal communication with written, non-verbal. And unlike texts and emails, it puts the communication right where you need it: in the document.
