InDesign makes the assumption we all want to make books, or magazines, or some other printed document. And those types of documents start with page one on the right side of the spine.
But what if we want to build a spread that will be used somewhere in the magazine? Or what if it’s a four-page newsletter and we just want to impose it as front and back and print it out?
Well…that’s hard.
If you’ve ever tried to drag another page beside the default page one, you know that it all just flips around and makes life hard.
I’ve seen people just add two pages after page one and ignore it. They build on pages 2-3 and pretend the first page just isn’t there.
We can fix this, and it’s not hard.
In this Episode I show you a couple of ways to make spreads so you can get on your way designing your pages.
